Founder of All-Star Academy
Amy founded All-Star Academy in 2017 and has always had a passion for performing and the entertainment industry from a young age. Amy has been involved in a variety of performances both musicals and plays, portraying iconic roles such as Paulette in 'Legally Blonde the Musical' and Emily Bronte in 'We are Three Sisters' Amy made her first directing debut with the play 'Making Waves' performed at the Halifax Playhouse. Amy turned her attention to teaching and studied Drama in Education and Community at York St John University. Amy has over 12 years of experience as a drama and theatre facilitator and has previously taught performing arts for several renowned theatre schools both in the UK and overseas before deciding to branch out with her own company after seeing an increasing need for an expressive theatre school where the children are the focus.

Emily has performed in amateur musical productions at St Nicholas theatre and the Royal Opera House (Newcastle) including Rent, Sweeny Todd, Bugsy Malone and Pirates of Penzance which has helped develop her technique.
Emily also directed and choreographed extracurricular shows and plays at high school.
Emily’s teaching ethos is ‘inspire the next generation’ and of course to have fun whilst doing so!

Ellie is currently studying History at York University, but alongside her studies she has a passion for cheer and performing.

Before starting cheer Ellie's background and experience was in gymnastics where she was a competitive gymnast from the age of 8, competing at regional and national competitions.
It was through gymnastics where Ellie fell in love with teaching, Ellie has now been coaching the sport for 6 years.

Within these years of dancing she has attended different dance conventions where she has learnt how to perform and gain vital teamwork skills.
Amy has participated in her IDTA exams and has achieved a bronze silver and gold award. Currently she is in high school and starting to discover what she wants to do in the future.
She is interested in studying child psychology and having a career involving children.

Elissa has been on board the All-Star Academy Halifax Branch from the very beginning. Assisting with Choreography and being an exemplary role model for our All-Star pupils. Her bubbly and smiley nature makes it easy for children to get along and work well with her.

Miss Elissa completed her Performing Arts BTEC at Huddersfield New College and has since been involved in all of our All-Star Academy Productions. Dandini in Cinderella 2020, Ensemble in Peter Pan 2022 and our evil villain Melissandra in Sleeping Beauty 2022/23. Miss Elissa is a born performer and has a plethora of skills to pass on to our Academy Pupils.
Miss Elissa is also passionate about inclusivity and specialises in teaching those with SEND, trained in Makaton and soon to embark on her SEND Teaching Degree at Huddersfield University. Miss Elissa is a wonderful asset to All-Star Academy and it's a delight to have her back on our Teaching Team.

Molly has an excellent bond and rapport with our students from our smallest Twinkles at 3 and 4 years to our older students at secondary school. Although not much older than some of our Senior students themselves she has a very mature head and is an excellent role model for all.

Mr Hammond has been a gigging musician for 10 years+ and has an extensive knowledge of music and singing and has worked with some amazing musicians and actors over the years. including the Osmond's!
A graduate of performing arts, Mr Hammond has been volunteering with All-Stars and has been involved in few of our shows. From helping with the technical support to been our comedy lead (Pepe) in beauty and the beast.
He will be a true asset to ASA and we are so happy he is joining us.
